In the Dark
Opening my archive, I’ve notice how discarded images, tests set aside, presented common features: Whiteness. Bodies. Empty spaces.
My body, from which I often ask to adopt unusual poses, is shaped around a space which remains empty. I have seen this absence as a metaphor of an void that I, every day, try to fill, investigating myself and my photography.
So I tried to fill that emptiness with fields of solid color, saturated: angular elements, opposed to my being to my photography.A research for the state of fullness, completeness, wholeness.
